using a web browser preferably Internet Explorer or Mozilla
Firefox.
How do I attempt an exam?
To begin with an Exam, just click on the attempt exam link from
the left navigation in your workspace. The exam ends either when
the time runs out or when you click ‘Finish Exam’ in the exam
page. When you have finished your exam, your score, answers and
explanations will be given immediately.
What’s the difference between a whole exam and individual exam?
This option lets you attempt both Paper 1 and Paper 2
together, one after another. You can finish paper 1 and then
attempt paper 2. At the end of the exam individual score and
combined results will be available to you. AdmissionPlus
supports saving the exam and continuing it at a later stage.
To attempt an individual paper (Paper 1 or Paper 2) selects the
desired option and proceeds.
In Topic based exams, you can attempt 12 questions at a time. If
you choose beginner level, you will get 18 minutes to finish the
exam. If you choose standard level, the time duration will be 15
minutes and for expert level its’ set as 12 minutes. Topic based
exams are for students who have just enrolled for their 10+1.
This allows you to take the test with questions from the learned
portions of your syllabus. 10 topic based exams will be counted
as a whole exam.
How do I choose my level of Expertise?
Based on your level of preparation, you can choose a level of
expertise. Three different levels of expertise are provided such
as Beginner Level, Standard Level and Expert Level of exam, each
level containing questions with different difficulty levels and
different time duration. In all the three levels the pattern of
questions remains the same while the time duration for each
level differs according to the plan.
In this level, you can finish your 120 questions in 180
minutes. If you have just started preparing for Medical/
Engineering Entrance, you had better choose a beginner’s
level hence you will get ample time to go though all the
sections of the question paper and a get a good feel of the
paper
In this level, you have to finish your 120 questions in 150
minutes, there by simulating the real exam situation. If you
are confident about your speed, you can choose standard
level.
Here you will be finishing your 120 questions in 120
minutes, 30 minutes less than the real examination. This
will definitely sharpen your speed and test taking skills.
Practice this overdrive mode of test taking and increase
your speed and quicken your response to the question paper.
I want to continue an unfinished exam.
While attempting an exam, if the
power fails or internet connection breaks, AdmissionPlus
automatically saves your progress. Next time you login you can
continue the exam from the point you left it off (including
timer). Remember, Choosing a fresh exam, while an unfinished
exam exists, will lose you the unfinished exam and that will be
counted as an attempt. The difficulty level you had chosen for
the unfinished exam will apply through out, no matter which
level you choose.
What happens if I lose internet connection or incase there is a
power failure while doing an exam? Will I lose my progress in my
exam?
Admission plus automatically
saves your progress in each practice test and you will be able
to continue with your exam after the power / internet connection
is restored from the point you left it off (including the
timer). You will not lose your progress in the exam.
How do I continue my exam after the power or internet connection
is restored after a disruption?
In the student homepage, click on
‘Attempt an Exam’ and choose the exam which you were doing and
click next. There will be a tab ‘Continue Old Exam’. Click on
that and you will be able to continue from where you left off
before the disruption. While choosing the exam you left off,
please note that no matter which level you choose now, the
difficulty level of the question you left incomplete will apply
for the rest of the exam too. You don’t have an option for
changing the level of the exam after it has started. Also please
note that you will lose your saved progress if you choose
‘Attempt new Exam’ instead of ‘Continue old exam’ and then only
the latest exam progress will be saved.
What happens if I choose to ‘Attempt new exam’ instead of
continuing my old exam?
You will lose your saved progress
if you choose ‘Attempt new Exam’ instead of ‘Continue old exam’
and then only the latest exam progress will be saved.
How do I get proper explanations for answers?
At the end of the exam, you will
get a detailed explanation for each question you attended. If
you have questions about the explanations, you can call our
customer service or mail us at
queries@admissionplus.com.
If the explanations are not clear enough, is there any other way I can clear them?
Yes. You can send an email to
queries@admissionplus.com and we will get back with the
correct explanation for your question.
Where do I get the history of exams?
History of exams keeps the
details of your previous attempts. It helps you to analyze your
improvements, view the results and check your past performances.
The comparison gives you a better picture of your scoring
pattern. Maintaining a steady level of scores shows a consistent
performance. Try to keep a consistent level of performance
without compromising on your level of accuracy. A high level of
accuracy is essential. Remember, 1 mark can cause the difference
of many ranks in the actual exam.
Are these questions prepared in the same pattern as the Kerala
Entrance Exam Question paper?
Yes. Each question paper is
prepared in the same pattern as the actual Kerala Entrance
Examination Question paper. It will have the same proportion of
questions from different topics/ portions with the right mix of
easy, medium and difficult questions.
Who has prepared these questions?
AdmissionPlus has a team of
eminent subject experts each with over 10 years of experience in
entrance coaching. The questions have been meticulously
formulated to cover different aspects of each topic in every
possible angle to give you maximum exposure to different types
of questions that may be asked in the Kerala Entrance exam.
Is there anyway to distinguish fresh questions from the
questions that I have already answered?
Yes. There is a ‘Check Attempted
Questions’ button in the question paper. By clicking this button
a tick mark will appear at the left side of the attended
questions , so that you can easily identify them. Please note
that this tick mark is only indication that you have attempted
the question and does not in any way indicate a correct or wrong
answer.
